We love the look this hood gives our kitchen. Hangs beautifully and very elegant. Works very well. I cook a lot, and this takes care of all the unwanted aroma. we love the sleek design. It’s an island hood, but doesn’t look bulky.

Greatest vent hood ever!

I have downdrafts for 25 years. We changed to gas cooktop and my husband was convinced that a vent hood would be better than a downdraft. Boy is it! This unit has an auto function that senses how much smoke there is and adjusts the fan speed accordingly, or you can choose the speed you want. There is even a boost that puts the fan on “super speed†for up to 10 minutes. No more lingering smoke or odors. This is so much better than my downdrafts. We got the 42†and we are very happy.

I purchased this Island Canopy Hood 2 months ago and was surprised to find the various switches do not light up until they are activated. At night, they are hard to see. The two slots for the vent are not large enough to allow sufficient air to pass. Looks nice but does not draft sufficient air.
