Only Good thing is the looks

purchased set when we bought our new home 4yrs ago, after extended warranty ran out we got the dreaded 3c code i paid out of pocket nearly $700 dollars to get it repaired plus top washer lid since the locking mechanism had broken a while ago. in the past 3 mos. a tech has changed the stator and rotor now 4 times and a bunch of other parts recommended by samsung, still not fixed! top lid is a total different story. 1st replacement completely cracked while doing some active wear. it was replaced just fine, next replacement completely exploded while washing some undergarments! now samsung is refusing to replace it, even though it is not my fault what so ever and fixing it would cost me another $300! as soon as i can i will replace all my samsung appliances. do not buy

communication circuit boards broke with error 188j. i called samsung and they said the code is not in the system. well it should be. this is the same error everyone who owns this washer gets after less than 2 years. technician said it will cost about $400 to fix. i also have been unable to use the top washer due to the error codes. it takes days for that one to clear. i have been weeks without a washer and will not go to laundry mat. very disappointing samsung. you should stand behind your product and have this washer recalled.

after buying the washer and using it for three years, it stopped turning on. sears repair guy did the diagnostics and said the digital touch pad is completely beoken and need to be replaced for $560. manufacture warranty only lasts 1 year and not worth investing in this product.

our motherboard just went out one day and we are out of warranty. after reading the previous reviews, it seems like this is a reoccuring issue with the samsung washer. aren’t they suppose to last more than 3 years. disappointed. makes me question samsung appliances.

Looks goods but run

so you figure you spend 1600.00 on a washing machine it would work for a while think again. i was in the middle of a cleaning cycle washer froze up tried to power off then back on well bottom washer wont power on now. called customer service says out of warrenty. obviously there is a problem with this a 2.6 raiting. i look for a class action lawsuit to be coming soon.
